Q&A We Have Received So Far
1. Can I choose the ski resort myself?
No, please use Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Resort.
Japan has many ski resorts, but only a limited number of them are easily accessible for wheelchair users.
Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Resort features a barrier-free design within its facilities, and there are also wheelchair-accessible lodges nearby.
2. How can I get to the ski resort?
Public Transportation
Narita Airport or Haneda Airport → Shinjuku Station → Kobuchizawa Station → Ski Resort
From Kobuchizawa Station, you can take a taxi or use our shuttle service.
Private Shuttle
Wheelchair Ski Japan has a business partnership with a wheelchair-accessible taxi service, so if you wish, we can arrange a private shuttle from the airport to the ski resort.
The private shuttle can accommodate up to 6 people in total, including up to 2 wheelchair users.
A dedicated staff member will accompany you from airport pickup to the resort, so you don’t need to worry about heavy luggage or navigating unfamiliar areas in a wheelchair.
3. What kind of clothing should I prepare?
Tops: long-sleeve shirts, fleece, down jackets, ski wear
Bottoms: tights, socks, ski wear
Ski wear is available for rental. Accessories such as knit caps, ski goggles, and ski gloves are not available for rental, so please bring your own or purchase them at the ski resort.
